Frequently Asked Questions
How old do you have to be to play at Paintball Paradise?
The miniumum age to play paintball with us is 10 years old for the standard paintballs and 7 years old for our new low impact paintballs, no exceptions. All players under 18 will also require signed parental consent on our waiver form.

Can I bring my own paintballs?
Only paintballs purchased from our field may be used at our facilities, with the one exception being the speedball arena. This is to ensure that the paintballs will wash off your clothes and for our customers safety as paintballs vary in hardness
and chemical composition.

Does getting hit by a paintball hurt?
We won't lie paintballs can leave a bruise if you get hit in the wrong spot, but 90% of the time it's bark is worse then it's bite. If you've ever been whipped with a wet towel you have experienced a worse pain. If it's a concern we recommend wearing looser fitting clothes of a heavy type of fabric. Groups of 10 or more can also request that their rental guns be turned down, but this may result in less range. We also offer our new Low Impact paintball option which substantially reduces the impact force of the ball. Read more about Low Impact paintball below.
Is there a place to eat?
Yes, we have plenty of space with picnic tables and a fire pit at both our field locations. Our Winnipeg location also has space with tables inside. At this time we don't have a private party room however. Our guests are welcome to bring their own food, and we have BBQs available for rent as well.

Will we have to play with other players?
Drop in players will be mixed together into teams based on skill level. Groups with reservations and a minimum of 10 players will be considered private and given the option to play in their own game. We will do our best to accommodate all
requests. Groups Using our Low Impact option will only play with other Low Impact players.

Do we need to make reservations?
No. Players are welcome to drop in without reservations during our operating hours. Reservations will be required for any play times outside those hours. We do however encourage all groups to make reservations regardless of when they plan to attend our facilities in order to ensure rental equipment availability.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Interac, Visa, MasterCard and American Express at our Winnipeg location. The St. Laurent location only accepts cash. We kindly ask all our awesome guests to consider paying by cash or Interac as credit card processing fees can be as a high as 3.5% of your total purchase which is over 2000% higher than Interac on a $30 purchase ( yes 2000% ). Help us keep your costs to play paintball as low as possible.

What should we wear?
What you wear to play paintball is entirely up to you, however we do recommend loose fitting clothes that allow you the freedom to be physically active. Heavier fabrics or multiple layers will help to lessen the bite of the ball if that's of concern. The paint we use is water soluble so there should be no worry of long lasting stains, or if you would like us to do the laundry a pair of our coveralls can be rented for only $5. PROPER FOOTWEAR IS A MUST. You will not be allowed to play in sandals or crocks.
What is Low Impact Paintball? Watch the Video
Low Impact Paintball also refered to as 50 caliber, use as smaller paintball and lighter, smaller marking guns than the traditional 68 caliber paintball. The smaller ball carries less kinetic energy and thus reduces the impact force the ball hits the player with by about 60%. Low Impact paintball is the perfect option for younger players and those new to the sport. Low Impact paintball is currently only available to groups of 6 or more whom make advance reservations. Groups choosing the Low Impact option will only play with other players using the Low Impact gear.
